Snowpack Close to Historical Minimum

  • Boulder snowpack is less than normal. This time last year, Boulder Mountain had above average snowpack.
  • Tizer snowpack is normal.
  • Missouri Mainstem River Basin Snowpack is well below Average, nearing its historical minimum.
  • Snowpack is suspected to rise in the next week with lower temps and increased snowfall.

An average snowflake is made up of 180 billion molecules of water!
